Background

Charlotte is studying music and drama at Luton Sixth Form College.  She’s been a long standing singer and saxophonist for the renowned Luton Youth Music Ensembles, Cantores and Luton Jazz Orchestra.  

She has been cast in local music theatre productions, such as Grease and High School Musical. 

She shows great talent for Classical Singing. Charlotte is also very interested in folk music. 

She is intending to apply to Birmingham Conservatoire, the Royal Academy of Music and Royal Holloway College.

GEORGINA ONUORAH

What's aninteresting thing about you?

 "I have recently been accepted into a national theatre company and was in my local newspaper!"

Background

Georgina is a 15 year old actor and singer that has performed in notable venues and has competed in national competitions. 

She's a ardent supporter of the local arts culture and is an accomplished singer

NATASHA SEALE

What's an interesting thing about you?

"I have a lovely three year old daughter and I’ve skydived in New Zealand"

Background

Natasha is very active in the local music scene – and has recorded her recent album at the Hat Factory in Luton.  She also gigs regularly with The Natasha Seale quartet who recently received a wonderful reception at Cheltenham Jazz Fringe Festival 2015.

Natasha studied graduated in 2000 from Lipa, she first played Rose in ‘Aspects of Love.’ She has enjoyed many following roles, taking the lead role, Donna, in ‘Mamma Mia!’ International Tour and ‘Little Star’ in 2009 – 2011.

FRANCESCA

Tell me about your character: 

"I'm playing the role of Persephone (or Percy for short), she's generally a sweet girl, but she feels incredibly trapped by her overprotective mother.

Persephone meets a boy and I think it's so exciting for her because it's new and different to what she normally does. I believe she wants to rebel but really she's scared and, even though she doesn't always show it, really does love her mother."

Background

Francesca lives locally and is studying for her GCSE’s.  She is an accomplished singer and sings with the local group, Cantores.  

When she leaves school, she would like to pursue drama as a career.

 KERRI SINCLAIR

What's an interesting thing about you?

"I’ve spent time washing elephants in Goa"

Background

Kerri has danced from a young age – doing tap, ballet, modern and jazz.  From the age of 13, she started at Stage Coach Theatre School, studying acting, singing and dance.  She featured in numerous local productions, including The Queen’s Jubilee and the Royal Albert Hall Concert.

At the age of 16, she attended the Urdang Academy in Covent Garden and while she was there played in productions of a professional standard, gaining a professional diploma in Music Theatre and Dance. 

After her career break Kerri is looking to take part in Persephone to rekindle her passion in music theatre

Tell me about your character:

"My character is new to the area.  She’s recently taken the post at the local hair salon.  She’s slowly building up relationships within the community.   People tend to come into the salon and off load their problems and have a good gossip.  She’s a good listener and easy going.  I think she’s looking for love and… herself."

RYAN JOHN DEREK PRAZER

Background

Ryan boasts brilliant leadership skills in the local performing arts community. He took over as director of the play 'Rainbow Redemption', turning it into a sold-out success at the Luton Library Theatre. Ryan continues his passions, directing and acting in his own plays. Ambitiously, he enjoys involving himself in every aspect of production: stage management to administrative duties. 

His natural talent to lead and innovate has led him to being a DJ for Tropical FM luton where he was able to surround himself with and keep tabs on local artists, events and productions. Through promoting home grown talent he has achieved growing popularity with his listeners, gaining over 100 listeners on 75% of shows whilst reviewing upcoming artists for an audience of 10,000 during his time at Tropical FM. He has charisma in spades which naturally lends itself to his character in Persephone.
